Hazel Pauline Stegall

Hazel Pauline Murr Stegall, 91, of Junction, went to be with her Heavenly Father on August 14, 2004. Services were held on Tuesday, August 17, at 11 a.m. with the burial at Ft. McKavett. She was a member of the Church of Christ and also a member of Ft. McKavett Eastern Star.
Pauline was born on March 7, 1913, to Pierson (Pete) and Wille "Belle" McWhirt in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. She married Aldie Garrett Murr on April 16, 1929, in Eldorado. They lived on a ranch at Ft. McKavett until the death of Aldie in 1972. They had one son, Paul Garrett and a daughter, Mary Katherine Murr Lewis, both of Junction. In 1975, she married Sam Stegall.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two sisters, Kate Thorn Goodman and Mary Moses; two grandsons, Henry Benard "Joker" Murr and Aldie Thomas "Clipper" Black.
She has 13 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly as did they love her, Jana Kay, Lissa and Jackie McNew, all of Junction, Tracy and Paul Murr, Jr., of Chandler, Arizona, Theresa and Marvin Davis of Brackettville, Brian Alan and Cheryl Black of San Angelo, Krissa and Jon Puckett of Houston, Janella and Brian Box of Spring Branch.
Pauline was also blessed with 23 great-grand children and two great-great-grand- children. She also had numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, Paul Murr, Jr., Jackie McNew, Marvin Davis, Brian Black, Jonathan Puckett, and Brian Box.
Honorary pallbeaers were Boyce and Bobby Hunger, Billy Hughes, Rob Roy Spiller, Gary Schwiening, Ray Sczpanik, David Lee, and Tom Johnston.

Lila Francis Lloyd


Lila Francis Lloyd passed away Sunday, August 8, 2004.
She was born June 29, 1926 to Elmer and Fannie Pettigrew.
Lila spent most of her life in Bryan and Junction. Her last years were spent in Junction. She loved to work on her house and in the yard.
Lila was preceded in death by her son, Billy Ray Dunning and her daughter, Iwilda Faye (Wendy) Harris.
She is survived by her brother, Lee Pettigrew, of Desdemona; two sisters, Faye Haines of Junction and Dorothy Pudinski of California; grandchildren, Christina Hamilton, Stacy Dunning, Keith Mullins, David Weimer, Croix Harris and many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed. Lila requested to be cremated and buried by her family.
