Mark Stephen Randolph

Mark Stephen Randolph, 39, of Buda, passed away October 25, 2003, in Austin. He was born June 4, 1964, in Rugby, North Dakota and married Connie Rush on May 31, 1986, in College Station.
Mark grew up on the family ranch in Junction, and loved to return to hunt, ranch, entertain and find solitude.
He graduated from Junction High School in 1982 and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1986 with a degree in range science. There he was a member of the national championship range team and two-time nominee for student of the year in the Range Science department.
Mark had a true entrepreneurial spirit and a wide range of interests and talents. His professions included real estate appraisal, owning and managing an industrial paint shop, a silk screen label business, fast food restaurants, and a heavy machinery shop. He found his niche as an investment advisor with Planto Roe & Associates in San Antonio.
Survivors include his wife, Connie, and son, Ramsey Allen, of Buda; mother, Betty Randolph of Junction; father, Frank Randolph and wife, Kay, of Junction, and one sister, Jeannie Duncan and husband, Brad, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 27, at Buda United Methodist Church with Reverends Mark Porterfield, Sheri Stice and Carl Rohlfs officiating.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. that same day in Copperas Cemetery with Rev. Carl Rohlfs officiating.
Arrangements were by Harrell Funeral Home of Austin.
