Harvey E. Ringer, 75, of Brady, died July 27, 2003, in San Angelo. Funeral services have been set for Thursday, July 31, at 10 a.m. in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Brady with the Rev. Wade Copeland and Gaylon Morris officiating. Burial to follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Homes. Harvey was born June 1, 1928, in Nix, to K.E. and Gorda Lee Palmer Ringer. He married Neta Fay Jones December 30, 1949, in Lometa. He was a Baptist. Harvey was a rancher and fence builder while working on many ranches in Sonora, Lampasas, Dalhart and Miller, Missouri, before going to work on the Richard Ranch for Carlos Richter in 1960. He was an outstanding 4-H leader, very active in FFA and other activities in which his children participated in; volunteered for Heart of Texas Rehab Day; loved to hunt and fish, and see after his livestock. He liked the outdoors and his many friends. Survivors include his wife, Neta, of Brady; one son, Larry Ringer and his wife, Arlene, of Junction; one daughter, Cindy Ringer, of San Angelo; two sisters, Loita Ramsey and Marguerite Ramsey, both of Lampasas; three grandsons, Cody Ringer of Alpine, and Clay and Craig Ringer; one great-grandson; one nephew, Mickey Ramsey, of Georgia; one niece, Mary Yarbrough, of Garland; one sister-in-law, Earline Jones; numerous cousins, a host of friends, and his favorite cat, Whitie. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers-in-law, one nephew; and two dear friends, Fred Wulff and Sefernio Medrano. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 30, from 6-8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation of North Texas or West Texas Rehab of San Angelo. Mr. Julian Flores, 23, of Kerrville, passed away Monday, July 28, 2003, at his residence. He was born April 29, 1980, in Kerrville to Narciso and Ester (Enriquez) Flores. Julian was a 1999 graduate of Tivy High School and a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. He is survived by his parents, Narciso and Ester Flores; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The Holy Rosary will be recited Wednesday, July 30, 6 p.m. at Grimes Funeral Chapel with Deacon Daniel Arriaga officiating. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, July 31, at 10 a.m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Monsignor Balthasar Janacek as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Julian's cousins will serve as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Pallbearers include J.R. Ramon, Johnny Barrera, Tony Ramon, Jesse Aguero, Sylvester Ramon, Richard Trevino, Charles Richard, and Peter James Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers include, Belinda Garcia, Amy Gonzales, Charlene Richard, Monica Barrera, Daniel Barrera, and Gloria Richard.
