Lola Pettigrew Morehouse went home peacefully to be with our Lord on May 19, 2003.
Visitation will be held at Aubrey Fife Funeral Home Wednesday, May 21, from 6-8 p.m. with morning services at 10 a.m., May 22, at Hill Country Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Junction Cemetery.
Lola was an active member of the Hill Country Baptist Church. She was born June 29, 1926, the second of twin girls to Elmer and Fannie Pettigrew in London.
She attended school in London before moving to Junction to finish in 1943. Lola was employed by Royal Sun Alliance in San Francisco, California, where she met and married Milton Morehouse in December, 1953. Milt preceded her in death in 1964. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Viola Walker and one brother, Henry Pettigrew.
She is survived by three sisters, twin Lila Lloyd and Faye Haines, both of Junction and Dorothy Pudinski of Sacramento, California; one brother, Lee Pettigrew of Desdemona and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
