- Viola .Sis. Andrews, 92, passed from this world April 15, 2007.
She was born September 1, 1914, in Mason County. Sis married Jake Andrews May 20, 1934, and they enjoyed almost 57 years of marriage. Both enjoyed the outdoors. Sis was an avid hunter. Her greatest pleasure was family and friends.
Sis was predeceased by her husband, Jake, mother, Lillie, father, Rob, brothers, Glen and Baze Cavaness and sister, Arlene Wagner. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were held Wednesday, April 18, at Gentry-Fife Funeral Chapel with the Reverend Alan Tullis officiating.
Burial was in Junction Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Larry Harrison, Tom Johnston, Rob Roy Spiller, Bruce Stewart, Wilford Wagner and Hayden Woodard. The family asked that Jesse Cavaness, Buz Hull, Gerald Loeffler and Vicente Menchaca be recognized as honorary pallbearers.
