| Devin Lewis spends some time after school tuning up her golf swing, getting ready for the regional golf tournament next Monday and Tuesday, April 23-24, at Shady Oaks Golf Club in Baird. Devin was the only Eagles golfer to qualify for the regional competition. |
- Junior Devin Lewis prepared for the upcoming regional golf tournament in Baird by participating in a qualifiers event hosted by Jim Ned High School. The tournament was played at the extremely difficult Diamond-back Golf Club in Abilene this past Monday.
Devin played against regional qualifiers from many 1A to 3A schools. Devin placed in a tie for 10th overall out of some 50 golfers.
Lewis shot a 112 for the round. This was the toughest course she has played all season and was great practice for the 2A regionals which are to take place next Monday and Tuesday, April 23-24, at Shady Oaks Golf Club in Baird.
