This Saturday and Sunday, the Kimble County Gun and Knife Show and Flea Market are being held at the Coke Stevenson Center. There is something for everyone from vendors who come to Junction from all over Texas. There will be great selections of guns, ammo, scopes, knives, and anything outdoorsmen might need for the next big hunt. This is a great opportunity to shop for gifts!
The Flea Market is always full of surprises! There is a big variety of merchandise...... plants, antiques, dishes, jewelry, art and crafts. Teresa Leach will have a selection of her wonderful handmade candles. There is no charge for the Flea Market.
Meals on Wheels staff will have a concession stand and bake sale both days of the show. Breakfast tacos, hot dogs, hamburgers, and chicken salad sandwiches will be sold. The food won’t be the normal fast food fare!
Junction True Value has donated a Stevens 22-250 rifle. The $3 admission fee gives attendees a chance to win this gun. Now, that's another great reason to attend the show. Additional chances can be purchased for $1. This excellent deer rifle will be given away on Sunday at the closing of the show.
Plan to grab a friend and/or your spouse and visit this great fundraising event. Meals on Wheels has been very fortunate to receive community support for this event. This event is a major fundraiser which helps to keep the meal programs available for the handicapped and elderly of Kimble County.
The doors open at 9 a.m. and close at 4 p.m. both days. For more information, contact Patricia Chenault at 325-446-3621.
